I haven’t done much shooting lately
but I visited one of my best friends in NC
for her birthday
and we did a short little shoot
since I’ve never gotten to photograph her before

 This is another piece from my reflection series
I don’t think I’m going to push myself to finish this
I’ll just do it at my own pace
and share the results as I go
any constructive criticism would be great though

 A customer came in and gave me 5 unused rolls of film
Needless to say, I was pretty excited
I’ve got a total of about 13 rolls at the moment :)

 I got a new camera
and it actually works pretty well
I’ll post some shots from it tomorrow

 I wanted to try and rock my flannel
with my paramore shirt
but it’s way too hot for that

 I was inspired by Kimbra’s new video for Two Way Street
I loved the mirror/reflection aspects of it
and I wanted to play off of that

even if I don’t shoot shows anymore
music will always be my biggest inspiration 

So yesterday was the first time I did a photo shoot with children
and it was interesting to say the least

It was 9 in the morning
and they were as energetic as I am at 3 in the morning 
They had plenty to talk about and show me
as we walked around Maymont Park 

I’d say the only drawback was the heat
but they didn’t seem to mind
I had a lot of fun
and I’m glad I got the chance
to experience photographing kids

maybe next time
I’ll stick with one at a time though
(the twins thing was a little much!)
